Next Assassin\'s Creed to Have Multiplayer?

That's the buzz today as Ubisoft discusses their upcoming fiscal year, they also announced that the next game will be the first to feature an online multiplayer mode.  Given the game play aspects of the previous Assassin's Creed games, it would be interesting to see how this translates into online competitive matches, or maybe even online co-op. 

Many possibilities but little details, we'll be the first to let you know when more infomation becomes available!

Now they have my attention :) Co-Op online please and don't just make it side missions, make it the whole game and side missions with different game modes..... please.

capture the flag was fun in a little mission in AC2, a match with more ppl would be sweet

that would be very fun if its done right, also the setting has to be right to, i like where ACII takes place, but i hated ACI's dessert area and feel.

Here's what I envision: -Two players are each assassins with the goal of killing each other, but the game gives them a random character model so they don't know what the other looks like. -They must blend in with the crowd and search the area for any sign of the other person. They can climb if necessary, but they need to weigh the pros and cons as the other person would know it was them if they saw it. I think that would be a lot of fun.

I bet they start adding Mini-games to the series once Natal and Wand comes out. Ubisoft is a JOKE!!!

i want a Tag mode make some maps, and make players run around, grabbing each other, and then "TAG, you're it" or just some simple CTF, like you play in AC2 during the carnival games

To anyone that finished AC2: *SPOILERS* I believe it can only make sense with the ending. Aren't the Assassin's trying to find the remaining Vaults? Also, they say that most of them are having a lot of trouble fighting the Templars... So we'll see lots of Assassins and your teammate will probably be one of them. I say it's going to be co-op based, not duel based and such.
