Lawsuit made them respond.
worst thing about people signing up to that class action suit is that almost no one of the people signing will make any money from it, all the "costs" which the lawyers come across will be what eats up 90% of any winnings this makes from Nintendo. The only things that will come of it are Nintendo losing some money and a law firm making bank.
What is the drift problem?
Seems like a lawyer statement and it doesn't really say anything. Obviously Nintendo was aware and that Nintendo can help doesn't say they will. Especially if the warranty is off.
According to reports now, there's an internal Nintendo memo saying they're not checking warranties or requiring proof of purchase for drift repairs.
Doesn't it cost like $40-60 to get it repaired and or replaced without a warranty? That's a pretty big problem in itself considering the frequency of the faulty hardware.
It is doomed already, as an industrial, I can tell that you don't open thousands boxes ready to be delivered to warehouses to quickly fix the consoles with a new stick 3 weeks before a worldwide launch, there are probably 3 millions of defect consoles ready to be delivered. It takes already 2 weeks in the big industry to update a reference number on a drawing, 1 month to change ONE dimension by a tiny bit on 1 part...Ca you imagine the mess if they are in rush to find a new design for the stick with 3 distinct parts to upgrade, with approvals and tests behind.. then it will take easily 4 additionnal months to implement it to the serial product, they are probably wondering now if they cancel the launch of the Lite, or if they just do like there is nothing wrong and release millions of product which will be tired after 2,5-3 years, which will ruins the reputation of Nintendo and the longevity of their consoles.
I have just sold all my shares a few hours ago. You can thumb red as much as you want, I know that truth hurts little ignorant fanboy.
@Amnesia I understand your point of view, but calling Bandorr a fanboy was unnecessary.
Nintendo hasn't released any new colours so far this year. How do you know they haven't been working on a fix?
