Ubisoft: Cost to Port Games to Stadia is 'Not That High' - News

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot speaking with investors that the cost to port games over to Google's cloud gaming service, Stadia, is "not that high."

"The extra cost to port, to make sure the games work well on Stadia is not that high. It’s part now of our pipelines and we have a good relationship with Stadia to make sure it is profitable for us," said Guillemot. "Now we are not speaking about 2.0 types of games that will need more work and this we will see more in the future action."

  • Stadia Pro ($9.99 a month, three months included in Founder’s Edition)
    • Resolution: Up to 4K
    • Frame rate: 60 FPS
    • Sound: 5.1 surround sound
    • Buy games whenever you want: Yes
    • Additional free games released regularly: Yes, starting with Destiny 2: The Collection
    • Stadia Pro-exclusive discounts on select game purchases: Yes
  • Stadia Base (free) – Launches in 2020
    • Resolution: Up to 1080p
    • Frame rate: 60 FPS
    • Sound: Stereo
    • Buy games whenever you want: Yes
    • Additional free games released regularly: No
    • Stadia Pro-exclusive discounts on select game purchases: No

You buy in to this stadia garbage, you are essentially pro censorship, it's a massive NEVER from me.

If sales are poor I can see support for Stadia taking a nosedive.
