Pixelnauts developer Alex Golebiowski speaking with GamingBolt in an interview discussed the inclusion of the solid state drives in the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Scarlett. He says it is a "great choice by both Sony and Microsoft. Load times will never be the same!"

The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Scarlett using AMD’s Zen 2 processor is a big leap over the current generation hardware, according to Golebiowski. The increased processing power will help developers create better looking games with fewer restrictions.

"I have a AAA art background," he added. "And although Lost Orbit was a relatively simple game, I am looking forward to having even fewer boundaries to make beautiful games without having to spend the budget of a full AAA dev."

Yeah. Spinning drives are for your backups, and that's about it.
