Microsoft has been improving its first-party lineup of studios over the past year. This includes acquiring studios, as well as opening new studio, The Initiative, led by former Crystal Dynamics head Darrell Gallagher.
The studio has hired former Sony Interactive Entertainment America employee Victoria Miller. The news was revealed on her LinkedIn page.
She spent eight years at Sony to help launch "AAA and digital games in partnership with European development teams, managing North American and Latin American regional production." Some of the titles include "Detroit: Become Human, Hidden Agenda, The Inpatient, Until Dawn, Until Dawn: Rush of Blood, No Man’s Sky, Alienation, LittleBigPlanet 3, and Beyond Two Souls."
The Initiative has also hired former employees at Rockstar Games, Insomniac Games and more.
