This would actually be a very smart release schedule for these games.

Would it? I don't think it makes any sense for Luigi's Mansion ... I don't know why Nintendo hasn't considered an October launch in the past for the franchise, it makes the most sense.

Theme wise, yes October would make more sense. However if Animal Crossing is landing in September with Pokemon landing soon after, it seems like it could easily be overshadowed.

To me, it seems wiser to keep them spread out and keep the bigger titles for the holidays.

@ AngryLittleAlchemist
Keep in mind that it's a Japanese traditions to tell ghost stories in summer and their 'day of the dead' is in August. So it's thematic to them even if not to us.

I was being a bit hyperbolic. It does make sense, I just don't think it would be as cool. But that's a fine release schedule if that were the case. I think it would be nice if AC was summer and LM3 was October, but oh well.

I can see fire emblem being an April release.

Jranation (on 08 February 2019)

Hopefully! But we still havent seen much from the game.

Q: How can we get people to notice our website? A: Post fake release dates for big games. The reality is nobody has the privilege as to when these games are released. The public learn at the same time as retailers for most games. Can't believe people still fall for this.

Switch mini in September!

I love how the image fits the topic so perfectly. "Release dates might be revealed!" - *Luigi shocked*

cycycychris (on 09 February 2019)

April could be FE. June could have a Wii u port or maybe a eshop game (both?). August game might get announced at E3. All this seems very believable. Plus I'd be so happy if Luigi Mansion is so close, I thought it would for sure be closer to October.

Luigi's Mansion releasing in summer makes no sense, since it is a Helloween game...

Jranation (on 08 February 2019)

October would be a nice date.

Jranation (on 08 February 2019)

Placeholder are generally the first day of the month if we're just missing the day.
If we know the quarter, you can expect the last of day of said quarter.
If we just know the year, it's usually December 31st.

Oh I hope these are true! ^^ But it'd be more appropriate to release Luigi's Mansion 3 in October.
