KH3+RE2 and 200 units more than Switch. Japan is done with home consoles, looks like.
Totally unfounded opinion but I don't think its crazy to imagine that a decent chunk of people held off on the switch until smash arrived, where as the PS4 is close to its 6th year, I can't imagine anybody is holding off on getting it for any one particular game.

Well I'll be...KH3 actually did it! It hasn't lost steam as a franchise after all! Way to go KH3! Of course we're still waiting on global numbers, but KH has always done better in the US so we should be good.
Raise your hand if you're surprised. Not that KH3 doesn't deserve it, this game has been a masterpiece so far.
That is quite the one week on the year PS4 will outsell Switch in Japan. Funny though is that X1 done just 79 even having these same 2 games.
Just as planned.
52k and a near-tie on the week that two massive games release on PS4 is a testament to which way the winds are blowing in Japan.
Woah.
Id love to know the digital sales, specialy in Japan they are hughe nowadays. RE 2 numbers are also quite awesome, that game is sensacional, it deserves every copy it sells.
Considering most games have been doing over 30% digital, sometimes even over 50%, it's pretty likely it outsold KH2 first week.
