Amazon has listed Sunset Overdrive for Windows PC for $19.99 with a November 16 release date.

Here is an overview of the game:

Don’t miss the single-player campaign from the game that IGN awarded best Xbox One game of 2014, the game that Oolygon rated 9 out of 10, and the game that Eurogamer calls “a breath of fresh air.”

In Sunset Overdrive, the year is 2027 and Sunset City is under siege. A contaminated energy drink has transformed most of the population into toxic mutants. For many it’s the end of the world, but for you it’s a dream come true. Your old boss? Dead. Your boring job? Gone. Transform the open-world into your tactical playground by grinding, vaulting and wall-running across the city while using a devastating, unconventional arsenal.

With hyper-agility, unique weapons, and customizable special abilities, Sunset Overdrive rewrites the rules of traditional shooters and delivers an explosive, irreverent, stylish, and totally unique adventure. Embrace the chaos of Sunset city through a hyper-colorful, post-apocalyptic single-player campaign and two bonus expansions, “Mystery of Mooil Rig” and “Dawn of the Rise of the Fallen Machines.” Outgun crazed mutants, homicidal robots, and villainous thugs on your journeys with the included “Weapons Pack.”

Key Features:

  • An Open-World with No Rules – Leap off buildings, run along walls, and grind power lines and rails to destroy your foes from every angle.
  • Over-the-Top Weapons – Collect and upgrade an arsenal of unconventional weapons that use items like dynamite, fireworks, harpoons, and acid to destroy your enemies.
  • Downloadable Content Included – “Mystery of Moil Rig,” “Dawn of the Rise of the Fallen Machines,” and “Weapons Pack” included.

I'm keen to have a look at this. The last Xbox exclusive other than Halo is now on PC

I just want Halo. Although Gears was nice if they could get it off the windows store.

People keep saying this but back in June of this year at e3, 343 confirmed halo infinite (halo 6) will be on PC.

@luke I think what many people want, myself included, is a full fledged release of MCC + Halo 5 on PC. No reason for MS to not do it at this point.

Would you all be willing to play this via the Win10 store? Because thats almost guaranteed to happen. Most likely remain exclusive to the Xbox ecosystem.

@Azzanation It's coming to Steam as well.

@DialgaMarine agreed. I would like tjem too. It would be perfect as well. Sell them as a bundle and all halo games (except reach) would be on pc.

Ooo please. Always wanted to try Sunset Overdrive

DialgaMarine (on 12 November 2018)

Nice. I'll finally be able to play it.

20 is a good price. I just hope they don't fuck up the port. if it's released on Steam and it's a good port, chances are high that I'll nab it.

Errorist76 (on 12 November 2018)

Great price. Love Insomniac, but I couldn't get over the crude humour when watching let's plays. Seemed like it was written for American teenagers. Anybody care to pursue me to buy it anyway?

Errorist76 (on 12 November 2018)

pursuade of course. Excuse my mistake.

You love Insomniac but don't care for their crude humor? That's what Ratchet and Clank was known for.

@ALA None of the other Insomniac games has this style of overdone dude-bro humour.

I honestly didn't pay that much attention to the humor, but there were a few moments I found genuinely funny. It starts a bit slow but it reviewed well for a reason.

Maybe Im just too old for it.

Can't be that, given your behavior on this site. You know this game gets a lot of praise, you ask to be persuaded, but you just give obnoxious responses. If you don't need more persuading, just don't bother.

Correction, if you need more persuading, just don't bother. They need an edit button.

@Mr Puggsly Can you please point me to where you, or anyone else, has tried to persuade me? I don't see anything.

I'm speaking generally, you know this is a praised games and people have been port begging for years. If that's not enough for you to consider playing it, don't bother. There is a reason you're even discussing this game, you know the acclaim it has.

Good news, but the MS should encourage them to make an X1X patch. A resolution boost and increased graphics settings would be nice.
