Koei Tecmo has announced Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends Complete Edition DX for the Nintendo Switch. It will launch in Japan on December 27 for 6,800 yen. The digital version will be 10 percent off for the first two weeks. 

A release in North America and Europe were not announced. 

Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends Complete Edition originally launched in 2013 for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita, and in 2014 for the PlayStation 4 and Windows PC.

Interesting. They're re-releasing DW8 for Switch rather than releasing DW9 on it? I hope that means they've realised they massively screwed up DW9 and will actually make DW10 great again.

9 was unbelievably bad. First dw game that i only beat one factions story.

I never even played it but I've heard nothing but bad things.

Although they screwed up 6 as well before making 7 awesome. Just hope they'll do that again. Them removing a load of officer's unique weapons and selling them later as DLC doesn't exactly look like they're going in a good direction at the moment though.
