7 years since Skyrim and YES 6 is still just in pre-production, FFS Bethesda... XD
And it'll STILL release before FF7R.
PS5/PC/X2 then.
No Switch2 port!! typical!!!11
Hahaha you always crack me up Mr. Crotch :P
So if i remember correctly.. TES 6 is coming AFTER Starfield. It was said Starfield will be on 'next gen'.... Sigh. Who knows what this could mean. Was it a slip up of words and he meant this gen? or will the next PlayStation come out sooner than we think? How long do we have to wait for TES 6? I want to play TES 6 asap after waiting 7 years, but at the same time i don't want them to rush it.
As much as i like Fallout, i'm kinda bugged that 76 seems higher on their priority list than TES 6. It's not been that long since we got Fallout 4, and 76 is going to be 4x bigger? I don't have a problem with 76, i just wish they would've swapped the release schedule and focus on TES 6 at the forefront. Swapping the release schedule would've also given fans a breather between 4 and 76, so that when 76 eventually gets released, fans will be craving Fallout.
Well... to be fair, no one asked for an online Fallout that spits on everything the series is aswell. It's just what they felt like doing. Basically, having the monies from Skyrim, they entered a state where they can do whatever they feel like. What they felt like was doing all sorts of crazy experiments. This is the latest. In the meanwhile they alienated the fans and have only now realised it with the backlash.
I would hope that it was a slip of the tongue and by next gen he meant current gen. but likely not.
I mean microsoft also said they were working on the next console, i know it's obvious but saying this live on stage when millions are watching, this can really hurt your sales so i really think the next xbox could release next year. Definitely getting showed at next year's E3 imo. So maybe Starfield is a launch title and is almost done but they can't show too much since the specs haven't been revealed.
You may be right, as much as it disappoints me. But, i did expect Microsoft to rush into next gen, what i didn't expect was for third parties and Sony to apparantly be into it already.
Going at it this early will have dire consequences. 5 year consoles at this much slower cadence of software releases reduces the value consumers are getting from consoles and may lead to a market recession. Dangerous games being played here.
On the bright side, yeah, Starfield and ES6 woud be closer.
The technology jump will be much smaller without waiting for those quantum processors.
"Coming right after Skyrim gets ported to Android, Iphone, and eventually your Smart-toaster."
They didn't even announce the region... after 7 fuking years!
Okay... so when though? Fallout 4 got announced and came out 6 months later.
That teaser screamed High Rock to me. Ideally it would include some of Hammerfall, though I wouldn't hold my breath.
That's what i thought? Small map though, so quite a congested open world.
WTF? "in pre-production" come on now Bethesda. well at least we know it's happening.
It's going to take years till we even see a release date (even though we give other certain games crap for taking years to make). That said, I am happy that they at least acknowledge it's definitely coming.
So much for Bethesda announcing their games months before release.
This is only ever so slightly better than the bullshit Nintendo pulled with Prime 4 last year.
I wouldn't even call those trailers.
Just a teaser to let you know what is planned, same as the Metroid Prime 4 one from Nintendo last year.
