Spyro Reignited Trilogy Trailer and Screenshots, Coming to PS4, Xbox One - News

Following a couple of teases over the last few of days, the announcement trailer and screenshots for Spyro Reignited Trilogy. It will release for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 21.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy includes Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage!, and Spyro: Year of the Dragon. They were released for the original PlayStation in 1998, 1999, and 2000, respectively.

I hate to be the "Switch-port-beggar of the week" but...c'mon...
It's 100% coming to the Switch, if Crash did then Spyro will. More than likely being ported by a 3rd party team.
This is being developed by the same studio as the Switch port of Crash. They'll probably start working on the Switch version once Crash is done.
I'm sure that will happen soon.

A Switch version was accidentally listed on Nintendo's UK site before being pulled down so that's a pretty clear sign it's coming at some point.

Yes!! I never owned a Spyro game- Ratchet and Crash were enough platformers for me on the PlayStation, but am definitely getting this in September!

this september looks really awesome...dragon quest 11, spiderman, spyro, tomb raider...maybe SE will put KH3 in september too, that would be crazy;)

I’m sure the Switch will get an announcement soon. Nintendo is likely saving it for their E3 presentation to go alongside a spyro smash brothers addition with crash and others.
Why do they keep porting these games late on Switch?

Depends how much you care about being able to play it on the go. It's a shame that the Switch is still getting delayed ports, especially since those who don't want to wait often end up buying them on another platform.
If this is being made with a similar deal to Crash then you could be waiting up to a full year for the port to Switch.
