SEGA has finally confirmed a rumor that has been floating around for months now - a new Sonic Racing game is in the works. A teaser video for the game was posted on the official Sonic the Hedgehog Twitter page.

Nice, I played a ton of the previous two. Hopefully they finally aim for 60 fps. Mario Kart games always achieved that in comparison. On a side note, I also played a lot of Sonic R on Sega Saturn.
That R is the same as sonic R for the Saturn. but clearly there's cars involved.

So Mania sold really well from what I've heard and Sega's reaction to that is let's forget about Mania and do other stuff? Am I the only one that wishes for more Mania games?
Just because they're developing other things doesn't mean they're forgetting Mania. It's only been 1 year since Mania, a sequel isn't going to come out until 2019 at the earliest.
Sonic Mania plus was just announced. Expansion to Sonic Mania. It's here to stay. Classic Sonic sweetness. :)
