Take-Two President is 'Impressed' With the Growth and Sales of the Switch - News

by William D'Angelo , posted on 07 February 2018 / 2,706 Views

Take-Two President Karl Slatoff during a conference call to investors stated that the company is "impressed" with the growth and sales of the Nintendo Switch, however, they have nothing specific to announce right now.

When it comes to porting more games to the Nintendo Switch, Slatoff said that it depends if the game is "right for the platform."

Take-Two has recently released NBA 2K18WWE 2K18 and L.A. Noire on the Nintendo Switch.

Thanks DualShockers.

Woohoo! Maybe we'll get a port of Bully!!!

StreaK (on 08 February 2018)

I think everyone who wants to own GTAV already has. I don't think GTAV will get to 5 million on the Switch.

Chazore (on 08 February 2018)

Everyone is wanting GTA V, despite the fact that this CEO is the same one who thought GTA V wasn't monetised enough, as well as wanting all their future games to have MT's in them. This guy is practically licking his lips at the growth of another user base he hasn't tapped yet. I'd rather Switch stay as far away from MT's as possible.

Slownenberg (on 08 February 2018)

GTA V port would make sense. I mean the game came out on ps3/xbox360 too, so Switch could easily handle that version of the game. Don't see how Take Two could pass up selling millions of extra copies of the game with a Switch port.

If he even utters the letters G and T I would be stuffing money into the top of the Switch to pre order it.

Will be my 3rd purchase of the game btw... already have the fantastic X360 version from launch and the PS4 version from when I got that system, I still would have zero problems paying out full retail for GTA5 a third time.

For a guy who bought it twice you seem overly excited.

So many people excited for a game that came out in 2013. Fascinating.

PortisheadBiscuit (on 08 February 2018)

Well, sure they are. It sold 15M last year with no heavy discounts. The excitement for this game is really fascinating

If you've not given in and bought it Bandorr, GTAV is just a fantastic piece of gaming done right, from Story, physics, cars, guns, map music..... everything about it is hard to point to another game and claim that it's better there. It really is worth checking out and each platforms version of it really gets the most out of the system, all the way from the 720p last gen versions up to the 4k PC version they're all really amazing on their respective platforms.

I'm also impressed to see how a simple nice game as Zelda bow can promote a crappy console as the wiiu2.0 (aka Switch) which is a clone of the worst console ever, the wiiu.

Dude,is almost one year later. Can you let go that talk that the only reason people are buying the console is for Zelda?
