The down votes it's because your comment have nothing with the fact of the switch's sales, it is about the portability, the portability don't mean you will play outside your home, it's an opition to you play anywhere, like in your couch or in your bed, or for a guy who always travel a lot, it is just a option, I don't know why an option for the player is a bad thing. We know you love your uncharted and your horizon, but you don't need to be salty or act like a victim of the down votes.

Hey, opinion is an opinion but all I'm sayin is that I'm already irritated with EVERYONE out there just glued to their smartphone screens. I once almost witnessed a girl run into a truck because she was walking and just could not look away from her damn phone.
Just what I think...you don't need technology 24/7. Break away from it and treat yourself when you get home from a hard day's work. That's where I'm coming from. :)

I played Resident Evil Revelations on the 3ds under the covers. It was very immersive and "sucked me in" plenty. Big screens aren't necessary but hey, Switch is a hybrid, not a handheld.

You are 1 in 10 million. The ps4 sold 10 million in 8 months and 29 days, and the switch was in 9 months, but the ps4 with 9 months already had the holidays, was launched in november meanwhile the switch was 10 millions without the holidays.

Why not play strictly on TV then? That's how my Switch is most of the time.

Well for me, playing on the big screen is really the ONLY way to enjoy a game or movie. I mean, sure, I can play something like tetris or mario on the go that doesn't require much time...but something like Horizon or an Uncharted...these are games that I don't merely play but FEEL. I actually breath these games in. I want to be there. It soothes and relaxes me. I want the BIG speakers. The BIG sound. The BIG screen. The couch, everything. Yeah, it sounds greedy but man, after a long day you say to yourself...hey, I deserve this! LOL.

You can do all of that on the Switch.

Well, to each their own...but I will cringe when I see a bunch of Switch's on the bus. Hey, that's just me I guess. I don't need to have a big device on me 24/7. More power to those who do but for me it's just an inconvenience. Portability is an option, sure, but for me it does not make the switch a better console because of it. It'd be the same for me with or without portability.

Just think of it like this, while you're busy looking at others playing games and cringing and thinking of cringe worthy comments to write on the internet on a forum about gaming the people you are staring at are enjoying playing games.

Perhaps you could do something useful and invite some gamers to VGchartz if you're busy staring at them on the bus and cringing.
