This is like owning an UHD version of a movie. Same movie. Same plot. You know how it ends. It just looks better.

Not everyone has played the original especially everyone below 20 who owns a PS4 or played the PS3 remaster, bease that was the rerelease of the dvd version wit widescreen. So why is everyone bashing the version wish at least had some significant effort put into it. Unlike the PS3 port.

I assume you haven’t played it in any form anyway.

BTW UHD versions of movies are usually just upscaled. This is much more than that.

Game was awesome on PS2. One of my favorite PS2 games. But just hilarious they keep rereleasing the same game on every new playstation system. kind of ridiculous.

Yeah, but EVERY version ends up selling over a million copies...so if they can make Shadow of the Colossus get to 3 million, why the heck not? it's not like this game has a lot of advertising. Its advertising is pretty much the console it ends up getting on.
The PS4 now itself is advertising for this game. New people once again are taking notice. It's just one of those "classic" games. It must be amazing if developers want to keep bringing it back. The developers WANT to actually do this. It's not like they were forced because it's gonna make em rich by selling a shit ton of copies.

I never had a PS2, only PC back then, couldn’t finish the PS3 version because it looked so outdated...Im insanely happy they do this now, so I’ll finally be able to play and finish the full game.
