Following the announcement earlier today that Demon’s Souls online services will shut down in Japan on February 28, 2018, the online services are also shutting down in the rest of the world on the same day.

Demon’s Souls is available for the PlayStation 3.

That game was one hell of a journey !! One of the best games ever made
Waiting for a niceguy thread berating Sony.
I loved this game....but made the choice to go for the plat, which basically means you have to do 4 full playthroughs, jump through some specific hoops, and.....not play online because it will fuck up the world balance. By the time I did all that, I barely touched the online, and moved on to a new game. I always regretted that because it seemed quite fun, and obviously unique. It didn't ruin it or anything, ( although the material grinding at the end was torturous ), but it did rob me of a huge part of the Demon's Souls experience. An argument against trophies to be sure.
