The First Age of Empires was during Iron Age and Rome. The second one was during the middle ages. The third was about the colonization of North America. Any guess on when the fourth will take place? I am guessing it will take place during the First World War, given relics experience with the Second World War.

Maybe it spans all of these ages altogether.

Going by the trailer I think it will span all the ages shown in the previous games.

Another MS RTS being developed by Sega. I'm curious to see if a console friendly version comes. MS rarely makes big budget games for PC only.

They are more common than big budget games exclusive for Xbox One these days.

That's a dumb comment. Since this gen started how many big budget PC only games has MS funded? To the contrary, MS is primarily funding games for the X1 audience.

MS is primarily funding games for their unified W10 platform. Everything MS makes or funds these days is available on W10 pc. But apparently it's not the other way around. At the start of this gen MS made some Xbox exclusivea, but lately they are either full pc or W10 exclusive. Which is a hit odd since you can make a console friendly RTS.

I get what you're saying, but they're primarily funding projects that appeal to the Xbox audience. RTS is a very PC centric genre so porting that X1 is not crucial and they can't give the impression its dumbed down for consoles. When people play Halo Wars they anticipate a console friendly game.
