Spotify Launches on Xbox One - News

"Just download the Spotify app from the Xbox Store to choose your personalized gaming experience," said Microsoft's Larry Hyrb. "You can choose from your saved music, search the full Spotify catalog of 30 million tracks, or browse the pre-curated gaming playlists in the ‘Gaming’ hub."

Been making use of this on the PS4 on and off since it arrived in Mar 2015, great little app if you don't want to put too much thought into what you're listening to to mix things up with a game you're okay with losing the music to.

Awesome, Xbox has always been known for personal music while gaming, as far back as the OG Xbox. Having Spotify in their ranks only further the notion.
I hope Xbox users are ready for the annoying ads. Ads ruin the experience by freezing the app. You have CLOSE the video game application just to access the Spotify app to fix the problem. Then go back to gaming until ads freeze the app again in an hour.
do you mean on the PS4? you can access Spotify from the quick menu by holding PS button and going into music from there.
I'd love to k is the statistics of how many people actually use these multimedia features in their consoles regularly. I have a feeling it wouldn't be that much.
Spotify has been on PS4 for ages and I know people that use it everyday. But that is anecdotal.
My sound system is connected to my TV, so I use Spotify on my PS4 almost everyday. Besides, one of my favorite things in the world is to blast my death metal playlist while playing Doom, sooo awesome.
