The fact that Solitaire is still not in is such a crime.

It seems they chose the original Pokémon games instead of the slightly improved versions of the originals, which is why Blue didn't make the cut. In fact, I'm under the impression that even this Red is slightly different from the Red you know.

Blue was a limited edition, in Japan. The US versions can't count, over their releases.

fairly sure that blue and green are interchangeable (?), blue just an updated (worldwide) version>?

No. What we did was stole the sprite redesign, from Blue. And only used the Pokedex from Green. They aren't interchangeable. Original blue had its own Pokedex setup. And had the new artwork. That's what made it a limited edition.

Well deserved, both are true gaming icons.

To both... well deserved! Pokemon is a beast, as always, and OG halo, made by bungie, alson used to be piece of art.

OG Halo still is in my book.

Final Fantasy VII should have at least beaten Halo.

Haha i love FF7 but nothing can touch Halo CE. It revolutionized FPS on consoles and sits as the highest rated FPS game of all time (97)

What's with all the down-votes? FFVII sold better, popularised the JRPG genre in the West, launched the PlayStation 1 to new heights, and is widely recognised as one of the greatest games of all time...

I didn't downvote, but Halo is clearly much, much more influential that FFVII. Compare what Halo did to FPS games to what FFVII did to JRPGs, and it should be pretty obvious. You still see the influence of Halo all the time, but you can't really say the same about FFVII.
