Square Enix has announced the newly established Studio Istolia in Tokyo is developing a new RPG called Project Prelude Rune.
The game is produced by former Tales of series producer Hideo Baba. He is also the studio head of the new development team.

The project aims to build a new RPG with a new fantasy: unfolding across a vast land teeming with life. Nurtured by the earth, the many peoples of this land dare to dream, fighting for what is just—and this is their tale.
The name of the studio originates from the Greek word for story.
