Head of Xbox Phil Spencer announced Resident Evil 7: biohazard will be an Xbox Play Anywhere. If you buy the Xbox One or Windows 10 PC version you can play the other version for free.

Resident Evil 7: biohazard launches for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC outside of Japan on January 24, 2017 and in Japan on January 26, 2017. The PS4 version is compatible with PlayStation VR.

Knowing how bad the Microsoft Store is i.e.: Lacking features and issues with the decryption system, Forza Horizon 3 was definitely the last game I bought there. Never again. The game is also being released on Steam, so I will buy it there.

MS should really be pushing this. Encourages more people to buy digitally which is more profitable and it gets more people using the Windows store.

Good value for the consumer, multiplatform games digitally that support this should be bought like this.
