Sega Europe has registered the domain name ShenmueHD.com, ShenmueRemastered.com and Shemnuegame.com.

That last domain does have a typo. The correct spelling Shenmuegame.com was registered in 2015 by Mike Dobbin for GoDaddy.

While nothing is confirmed the registered domains that Sega is planning on rereleasing a remastered version of the original Shenmue.

Meh.. i rather Yakuza Remaster. Btw , Yakuza is basically everything Shenmue strove for. But Yakuza actually executed the game properly.

I like the Yakuza games, but their campaigns are a slog. I'm several hours into Yakuza 5, my play sessions can literally be watching cutscenes while tapping through dialogue. They're boring games and that's probably why they don't have much of a following in the west.

Shenmue 1 and 2 were more gameplay focused, cheesy like 80s movies, and I love them for that. Shenmue and Yakuza are just different.

Interesting. I recently replayed Shenmue 2 on Xbox. These games have aged pretty well.

Yakuza is a bland stepchild of shenmue , shenmue is a better game in every way
