Even though Nintendo revealed its next gaming console, the Switch, there is still a lot of details the company did not divulge.

Many sources, including the one that leaked the design of the Switch, have told Eurogamer more information about the console.

The screen on the Nintendo Switch is 6.2 inches in size, which is the same as the Wii U. The display is also 720p.

It also features a capacitive multi-touch screen. This is the first time Nintendo has used the technology. The Nintendo 3DS and Wii U use resistive touchscreens that rely on pressure. The Switch screen is a 10-point multitouch display that allows for multiple fingers.

Nintendo will reveal the Switch release date, price and games lineup on January 12.

nice jump up from the 540p in the vita and the strange 240px2 used on the 3ds if this leak is true.

720p on a small screen should still look decent while ensuring battery life is not too bad.....
