Cloud Imperium Games announced at Citizencon it has delayed the Star Citizen Squadron 42 single player of the game to 2017 from its original planned 2016 release.

The majority of the technology behind the game is complete, however, there are still areas that are missing AI logic and mission integration.

The current goal for the team is to bring one of the 28 chapters of the game to release quality and show it off to the public.

Chris Roberts, CEO of Cloud Imperium Games , spoke about the upcoming updates to the game and showed off a couple of new features, however, he did not provide a release date for anything.

Thanks MCVUK.
