Interestingly, 22 million is less than half of Wii sales! the haters talking about an ocean of casual, no players, families ... XD

I love buggering into news posts to see which group of fans got there first. "All the pro-PlayStation posts are -3? Hmm."

It's crazy to see how close PS4 is to the combined sales of PS3/ 360. Maybe with the release of Slim and Neo + plus the awesome games lineup, it might take the lead again.

Not sure about this. Considering that the PS3 and 360 are slowly getting close to their de-facto relaunch (slim releases, motion controls and full scale 3rd party support) I think the difference will remain. Never the less Impressive sales for the current HD twins.

True, but given PS Move's instant failure, and Kinect's short-lived success, PS VR might actually be able to trump both, seeing how successful it already is in preorders alone. That, and it's been mostly positive amongst those that have tried it. If it takes off, I can see it being a huge bolster for PS4 sales.

Agreed. Hell I think it doesn't even need the numbers the Kinect pulled off, if the software support is constant and sales remain stable in time. I still think the PS4 will easily pass the 100 million units sold, and if PSVR becomes a hit, it could easily add 10 million + units to that total. Alas, only time will tell if this is possible or not.

I have no need for a ps4 this gen. My Xbox One is just fine for my gaming needs.

Indeed. As I said, Sony's has done a lot to drive me away, and over this kind of stuff, I am not the forgiving kind.
