Pokémon GO Plus Accessory Delayed - News

Nintendo announced it has delayed the release of the Pokémon GO Plus accessory. The device was originally supposed to launch in July, however, it will now be available in September.
The Pokémon GO Plus accessory is a Bluetooth device Pokemon Go players wear on their wrist. It uses an LED and vibration to alert players when a Pokémon, Pokéstop or gym are nearby.

Well this seems useless. I hope the delay is to add some features to it. Like a better pedometer that dosent really on gps. I mean I go to the gym and it dosent count my steps cuz im technically stationary acording to the gps.
What I hope it definitely does is at least count your steps wile your phone is locked and in your pocket.

Hope the delay is to change the look of it. I understand the look of it, but can't see why they couldn't make it more fashionable/appealing.
