During Level-5 Vision 2016 the publisher announced Inazuma Eleven Ares.
A TV anime will air in summer 2017 and five minute "Locker Room" shorts will be released on the internet.

Inazuma Eleven Ares is set in a parallel world taking place after the first game. The story revolves around three protagonists, Ryouhei Haizaki, Asuto Inamori, and Yuuma Nosaka.
A group of boys live on an island and love to play football (soccer). Their football club is abolished and only way to regain it is to win the Football Frontier.
