God of War E3 2016 Gameplay Gets Dev Commentary - News

Santa Monica Studio Combat Designer Mihir Sheth and Gameplay Engineering Lead Jeet Shroff have provided a developer commentary on the demo.

I'm not sure about this new gameplay. It doesn't really look like God of War.
It's carrying on the series with a new setting and mythology.
You can think of it like a reboot after 10 years of the end GoW3 perhaps with very small mentions of the past (the gameplay is a lot different)
