PlayStation VR Gets Release Date, Price, & Exclusive Game Trailers - News

Sony has just announced that its PlayStation VR headset will launch on 13th October in North America and will be priced at $399.

The company also confirmed that over 50 games will be available for PlayStation VR between launch and the end of 2016, including a number of exclusive titles that received trailers during Sony's E3 presentation.

Looks great! Waiting on reviews concerning the motion controls that I fear will be the weakest of the 3 major VR producers. I hope I am wrong. Hoping for bundle pricing with Neo when announced.

Trying to work out if Batman Arkham VR is different to Return to Arkham. If it is, might have to borrow my brothers PS4 and get myself PS VR headset.

Still waiting to see the performance on the original PS4, can't help but think the Neo will be required for a quality experience.

Not from my experience. I'm sure the Neo will be better, but the normal PS4 runs PSVR games just fine.

That would be very cool. I still find it so hard to believe just when looking at the hardware requirements for Oculus/Vive and comparing with the original PS4, but it'd be pretty great if somehow they managed to make it work.
