by William D'Angelo , posted on 09 May 2016 / 6,148 ViewsActivision COO Thomas Tippl speaking with investors provided some good news for the Call of Duty franchise. 85 percent of PlayStation 4 consoles sold in the US during the first quarter of 2016 were sold with a copy of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.
"[It’s] an amazing statistic which bodes well for the franchises' engagement and in-game play investment continued to expand rapidly," said Tippl.
Activision announced the next Call of Duty title last week. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare launches November 4, 2016. The Legacy, Legacy Pro and Digital Deluxe editions of the game come with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered.
Thanks MCVUK.

85%? If they were Asian, they'd perform harakiri! 100% or nothing.
It keeps amazing me that so many people love this franchise so much. But since it's a free market (or at least should be) I can't complain, will keep buying what I want and accept athat others have different taste.
Duh...It was the only major bundle for Q1...Activision trying on some of that MS NPD PR...
I dunno they didn't announce how many rounds of bullets were fired in Call of Duty this quarter, or how many times people got teabagged by a 12 year old online. Activision gave an actual number.
