Microsoft has revealed Xbox hardware sales have increased year-over-year for the nine month period ending March 31st, 2016.

Despite an increase in sales hardware revenue decreased due to a "decline in Xbox 360 console volume and lower prices of Xbox One consoles sold."

Overall gaming revenue increased four percent year-over-year. Software revenue jumped 41 percent, while Xbox Live revenues increased 21 percent.

Head of Xbox Phil Spencer announced earlier this week it had stopped producing new Xbox 360 consoles.

Lets hope XBOX and Microsoft continue for many years and learn from the initial mistakes they made when launching the Xbox one and also remember all the great stuff they have done before- and after that. Go XBOX! :)

If it can pass 50 million (SNES lifetime sales), id consider that a success, especially since their pre-launch problems.
