James Honeywell, the marketing boss of Nintendo UK, has decided to leave the company after a long and storied 21 years of service. While Honeywell has declined to state his reasoning for leaving Nintendo, he did say that he intends to return to the gaming industry in some capacity.

His tenure began shortly before the launch of Donkey Kong Country on the Super Nintendo and Honeywell gradually worked his way up through the company ranks. He was involved in many of Nintendo's marketing strategies and is regarded as a popular figure in the field.
