AMAZING!!!
Will only get 4 and maybe 5 though.
Glad they are physical!
How do you know that they are going to be physical?
Oh alright i just read that information on the offical capcom site, however there are going to be physical copies only in the Americas, they said.
They better use the profits from this to fund a proper AAA RE7.
yeah! and better not be another RE6 2.0, we want horror this time, at least in the same level as revelations which i didn't find it that scary (there were some scary parts though) or "survival horror-ish" comparing it to the original RE games to begin with but at least it had some RE essence to it.
Would love a RE4 remake.... but i feel these should be in a collectors edition like Uncharted was with the 3 games for the price of one game. but i wouldn't expect them to do it for too cheap and come in at a loss of course. i still want RE7 haha
I'd possibly replay 4, but have not a care in the world to ever experience 5&6 again. They just didn't feel like a R.E. game.
Hmmm... I can't see myself playing RE6 again in the near future. I would like a port of Revelation, that was a good game.
why? Everybody that wants to has played 4, 5 was "ok" as co up but not great and 6 was quite a big mess, this just seems like a quick cash-grab, unless they are significantly better then the already released versions, but i doubt it.
Hope Capcom will release this altogether in a physical copy later down the road.
they say that NA will get a physical copy
Awesome. At this stage, it wouldn't at all be surprising to see every numbered Resident Evil game on this gen.
@Nem i think you are forgetting about outbreak, chronicles, survivor, and some others, yeah they might be unpopular or just spin offs but they are still part of the RE universe
I'd care for 4... but I already own it so zzzzz
YAY?!
Nice. I'd love to ask for Code Veronica and Outbreak file #1+2 for Steam Capcom.
Seems kinda pointless. REmake was a no-brainer, and Zero is there for many people who haven't experienced its mediocrity. But the next logical step is RE2, 3, and Code Veronica, not ports of the most recent titles. Maybe they're planning on using the funds from all these ports to fund RE2 remake.
REmake was awesome, and to this day the best RE of the franchise, Zero wasn't that good but it was obviously a better RE and survival horror than the last games of the franchise.
Zero being a better RE than 5 & 6 (and 4, IMO) isn't saying too much. XD It's probably the least of the classic RE titles, despite a really cool opening train sequence.
well yeah xD but i think is an even better survival horror game than the revelations series, even if revelations was supposed to be the "return of survival horror to the franchise" it still have many action-hollywood sh*t sequences and gameplay that most of the time takes away that "survival horror" experience they tried to make.
I bought the origins collection. And i will buy this as well of it is retail
Capcom's gonna Capcom.
Hmm... RE 0, 1, 2 (in the works), 4, 5, 6 on PS4. If they remake 3 and Code Veronica, then do 7 you can have the entire series on a single console.
yeah! well it will still need some other unpopular RE's games to really have the entire franchise in 1 single console, like survivor, chronicles, outbreak, among others but yeah i'm really happy they are bringing this games to at least have the entire main RE games on one console.
Well, it's a sign that we'll have RE7 sometime in the next 2 years...but I wish they'd just let RE6 feel like a bad dream.
The less people that play that atrocious piece of garbage (RE6) is for the best.
Add your comment...4 is still the bomb!
The only good sequence in RE4 is the one in the village... If you remove that sequence, RE4 is as crappy as RE5 & RE6.
well i don't know, yeah the village part is one of my favorites too, really fun to play every time, but the other sequences weren't that bad, at least not worse than RE5 and 6 cause there are some scary moments at least here and there, like the regenerator thing.
RE4 is the only RE that was so annoying i couldnt bother to finish it. Between Ashley and cheap traps on the ground all over i just couldnt care less. I have no fetish over rescuing president's daughters. The plot motivation was missing for me.
