Xbox One Elite Controller 'Demand Has Exceeded Planning'

Xbox One Elite Controller 'Demand Has Exceeded Planning' - News

by William D'Angelo , posted on 01 December 2015 / 4,724 Views

The Xbox One Elite Controller has been quite hard to find since it launched on October 27th alongside Halo 5: Guardians

This is because demand for the controller has exceeded Microsoft's original plans, according to the head of Xbox, Phil Spencer.

The Microsoft Store page states that new stock will ship by December 28th.

I'm curious to know how many of these were made. I'm always suspicious they purposely made less than demand. Nintendo is pretty famous for that.

I have no idea how they knew this but my local Gamestop said MS only made 20k units.

I'm curious as to what the sales figures are for this. I wouldn't be surprised if it was an artificial shortage considering how expensive it is.

I really liked how you can change the buttons and stuff.
But so far i haven't seen it on display (like free to try out) at my shops.

Too short in supply to bother with display models. Why display a product which they don't have in stock to sell?

The Microsoft store around me had one to test out.... even if you don't see it out, ask them about it.. (it feels amazing)..
