Game industry veteran Steven Chiang has been hired by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment to oversee worldwide video game development as the executive vice president of Worldwide Production and Studios.

"Steven will help keep us on pace to deliver on our increased focus of developing free-to-play mobile games and growing our business in Asia, so we can continue to successfully compete as a leading games company," said WBIE president David Haddad.

Chiang had previously spent several years working at Zynga. He oversaw the development of the developer's free-to-play games on Facebook and mobile platforms. He has also worked at Electronic Arts.
