58 million people watched the Gfinity 2015 Championship Series online, which is well above the target of 50 million for the event.

The September finale saw four Counter-Strike: Global Offensive teams battling it out over a $100,000 prize pool. The final event drew 8.75 million online viewers.

"We are very pleased to have exceeded our target of 50 million views for the series, demonstrating our ability to attract the best players and talent and stage top quality eSports events," said chief executive of Gfinity, Neville Upton. "We look forward to continuing our rapid growth, within the fast developing global eSports industry and delivering equally compelling content and events in the future."
