Street Fighter V Story Will be Different From Past Games in the Franchise - News

The story in Street Fighter V will be told differently to previous games in the franchise, according to producer Matt Dahlgren who spoke with YouTube channel HipHopGamer.
"I can't reveal specifics on our story, but I can say we are going to be doing things differently this time around," said Dahlgren. "We're definitely paying attention to what our competitors are doing and want to raise the bar. Our story content is going to be unique and different from any previous Street Fighter game."
Street Fighter V releases next year on the PlayStation 4 and PC.

MK like story mode, wich is cool, since Capcom is not bowing down to try and atract new audiences by making a new generation os social stereotypes while ignoring established and popular characters. Fighting games are all about the roster, and its where MKX failed and SFV is looking great so far.
Hopefully they're paying attention to what MK is doing.
@ KingdomHeartsFan - with all due respect my friend, MK story is monkey @ #% @ # $ ... I love the game, but that's a fact, the story sucks.
The game play is first class and I think right now MKX and GG XRD are the best fighting games, at least until SFV arrives.
If you have a game that might serve as a parameter for "solid history in fighting games" this game is "Blazblue". well-developed story and various materials that expand the blazblue universe, most of this stuff being Canon and not bullshit that games simply forget ...
I like the idea of street fighter V bringing a reinforcement to history, I believe that good things can come out of this idea.
