Ubisoft Acquires The Crew Developer Ivory Tower - News

"We have always had a very positive working relationship with Ubisoft and due to the cooperation of The Crew and the common success, we have recognized that our cooperation has enormous potential," said the Managing Director of the studio, Ahmed Boukhelifa.
"By integrating into the Ubisoft teams of Ivory Tower will continue to benefit from Ubisoft's infrastructure, support, tools, technology and vision. In return, our experience will contribute to the further success of Ubisoft."
The Crew's upcoming expansion Wild Run releases November 17th for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.

Ubisoft is basically an employment program for programmers. But Ubisoft already has legions upon legions of programmers and that hasn't really resulted in higher quality.
That game was ghastly in almost every way possible. If they let them keep making games then I hope Ubisoft inject a new game design team into that studio...but I expect they'll be making trees and backgrounds for Assassin's Creed 98 quite soon.
