September 2007 was when Halo 3 came out on the 360 and they were flying off shelves from late September to the rest of the holiday seasons.
The Xbox One has Halo 5 coming out during the last week of October, and then it'll be in upswing from there.
I think the 360 will take September and October, and as far as I'm aware, November and December will be up for grabs, but the recently released Halo 5 (by then) should give the Xbox One the advantage.

Yes, the halo 5 console & the halo 5 limited collectors edition are shipped for October 20th (so people can preload), but the game launches on the 27th. The normal and limited ones come with a disc.

I meant the normal and limited edition come with discs, but the console & limited collectors dont.

So, based on these numbers, and the PS3 vs PS4 chart, the PS3 is also beating the Xbox One...

I noticed that too. I honestly thought it wasn't. Whether or not XB1 can pass 360 now depends entirely on how long it stays on the market.

With the XB1 only lagging 1 million units behind the PS3, I think many would agree that it would be nice to see that sales comparison. Please make this happen William
