Nintendo announced today that the standard New Nintendo 3DS will be releasing in North America this September, on the 25th.

The standard New Nintendo 3DS supports all of the features include with the New 3DS XL, but also allows for the use of interchangeable face plates, which allows you to customise the appearance of your 3DS.

The system will be available as part of an Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer bundle for $219.99. This bundle comes with the system, a copy of the game, two cover plates, and one Amiibo card.

Then, on October 30th, a Hyrule Edition New 3DS XL will be released for $199.99. This bundle is exclusive to GameStop.

Nintendo has also confirmed three new Wii Remote Plus controllers, which are exclusive to GameStop. They are Toad, Bowser, and Yoshi-themed controllers. The first two will release on September 11th alongside Super Mario Maker, and the Yoshi controller will release on October 16th alongside Yoshi's Woolly World.
