Clint Hocking Leaves Amazon Game Studios - News

Industry veteran Clint Hocking has left Amazon Game Studios, according to IGN.

Hocking joined Amazon Game Studios in 2014, alongside former Valve developer Kim Swift. The news comes only two months after the studio announced that it is hiring to work on a major PC title.

Hocking previously worked at Ubisoft as the creative director on Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory and Far Cry 2. He also worked at Valve and LucasArts.

Weird that he would cut and run so soon. Maybe he didn't like what he saw in the studio. I'm still looking forward to seeing what they come up with though.

I still dont see Amazon as being super invested in games. I love Amazon, but they just dont scream gaming to me as a company.
