Steeped in the feudal political intrigue of the BattleTech universe, the game will feature an open-ended Mercenaries-style campaign that blends RPG ‘Mech and MechWarrior management with modern turn-based tactics."
The Kickstarter is currently to set to launch this fall; there is no word yet on the base funding goal for the campaign.

As it should, this game was a old pen & papir game, like dungeons and dragons (D&D).
It makes sense its turn based and rpg.
Wish they'd bring it to the PS4 and One.
Nope. Battletech was hexfields strategy with miniatures. The P&P RPG came later. But you could blend that together back than.
I played classic Battletech for years. The Mechwarrior p&p just a few times because friends preferred Shadowrun.
