Rocket League has Topped 5 Million Downloads - News

Rocket League’s developer, Psyonix Studios, has announced that its crazy car/soccer game has been downloaded over 5 million times:

Thanks to SteamSpy we can estimate that about 510,000 of those downloads were Steam purchases. Since the game was free this month on PSN Plus, it’s a lot harder to estimate how many were bought on PSN, but regardless it looks as though the game has been a huge commercial success.

Finally, to celebrate this achievement Psyonix Studios also showed off a screenshot for a new upcoming stadium for the game:

Rocket League is currently available on Steam and PS4 (it's currently still free for PSN Plus members). You can read our review here

INB4 "but only because it's free on PSN+"... oh wait, it's in the article already.

It's not really free on PSN+ remember. You have to pay to be on PSN+. This isn't like Warframe.
