Free-to-Play Online Titanfall Game Heading to Asia - News
by William D'Angelo , posted on 29 July 2015 / 3,783 ViewsElectronic Arts and Nexon has announced a partnership that will result in a free-to-play Titanfall game being released exclusively in Asia on the PC.
"With its pilot vs. titan gameplay, among other innovations, Titanfall is a uniquely intense game experience," said president and CEO of Nexon Owen Mahoney. "We look forward to working with the talented teams at Respawn and EA and leveraging Nexon's free-to-play expertise to deliver a new and engaging online game based on Titanfall to the Asian market."
Nexon will publish the game in the region. A spokesperson told GamesIndustry that the game will be released in Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, and Southeast Asia (Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam).
Titanfall was originally released on the Xbox One and PC in March 2014, and in April 2014 for the Xbox 360. Titanfall 2 is currently in development and it will be multiplatform.
