Splatoon is also the 5th fastest selling title in the UK. Which is actually really good as the top four are Mario Kart 8, Super Smash Bros 4, Super Mario 3D World and New Super Mario Bros U. Splatoon being 5 in that list? Amazing.

Agreed with mZuzek. As much as people have been saying games without Mario or Zelda don't sell on Nintendo consoles, Splatoon has been proving them wrong as its FW in multiple countries has outranked games with both Mario and Zelda.

@super6646

That's not true at all. Plenty of games are hyped and sell like shit regardless.

1) MK8 (70,000) 2) Smash 4 (35,000) 3) NLand (28,000) 4) Wind Waker (27,000)

After, Splatton. So, Splatoon outsold Mario bros U and 3DWorld.

The Witcher 3 is pretty massive, so yeah.
Still a very good performance for Splatoon.
