Need for Speed Reboot Uses Same Engine as Star Wars Battlefront - News

by William D'Angelo , posted on 26 May 2015 / 3,219 Views

The upcoming Need for Speed reboot will be using the same game engine as Star Wars Battlefront, namely the latest version of the Frostbite Engine.

There's still very little information out there for the Need for Speed reboot, other than that it will be released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. Expect a full-blown reveal at E3 next month.

Basically the Frostbite engine, dunno why they needed to ham it up with Battlefront being mentioned, I mean they mentioned the engine for C&C generals 2 but they didn't go with "we're using the same engine for C&C Generals 2 that was used in battlefield tm!".

Just remake NFS:Underground with the best graphics possible. Do that and this franchise will finally be decent again.
