UK Retailers Cut PS4 Price to £289.99 - News
by William D'Angelo , posted on 23 April 2015 / 4,112 ViewsAs we reported yesterday, Sony has officially temporarily cut the price of the PlayStation 4 in the UK by £50 to £299.99 until Tuesday 28th April. Some retailers, however, have now dropped the price of the console even further.
Amazon, Argos, and Tesco are all selling the black and the white PlayStation 4 for £289.99. GAME is offering the Minecraft PlayStation 4 bundle for £290.

"Officially 'temporarily' cut the price" A week long sale can possibly count as an official price drop... where prices don't go back up...
Technical, the Xbox One hasn't had an official price drop either. Best Buy and GameStop and Walmart show the console as 'on sale' and 'save $50.' Its been like that for months...
Simplygames is £279.99 for those interested. Gamestop £289 with LBP3. Its cheaper than RRP in most places. Has been for a while (as i mentioned yesterday also)
