Rumor: PlayStation Vita 3000 Trademarked - News
by William D'Angelo , posted on 20 April 2015 / 5,211 ViewsSony is apparently working on the next redesign of its eighth generation handheld, the PlayStation Vita, according to a new rumor. The redesign will likely be called the PlayStation Vita 3000, if the rumor turns out to be true.
Sony Computer Entertainment has trademarked a "portable LCD screen game machine controller." The trademark was filed this month in Japan and was spotted by a NeoGAF user.
There are no details on this revision, other than the image posted above. The dotted lines on the image could mean the inclusion of L2 and R2 buttons, which is not in other models of the PlayStation Vita. Those buttons would certainly make people who use Remote Play with their PlayStation 4 happy.

Sounds pointless. Already made a slim model and that didn't work and you made a PSTV and again it didn't work. Your hardware is not the problem Sony, it's ur lack of support. This is not what we need.
Sure is.
Give me an SD slot so I don't get strongarmed into your current memory card system, sell it for a decent price and you could have yourself a deal, provided you go back to OLED.
It be better if Sony announced support with their big titles that would come to the handheld. Past that making new hardware changes nothing.
Micro SD slot puh-lease! And you may have yourself a buyer!
Hope it comes with a price cut because it certainly need's it. Love the VIta and may consider picking one up.
Would buy if true
Me thinks it will be more like the U gamepad and will be bundled with the ps4.
Called it.
