Massive Layoffs at Zynga

Massive Layoffs at Zynga - News

According to Gamasutra, Zynga has suffered massive layoffs, terminating over 100 employees from their Austin studio, as well as closing down their Boston studio.

Best known for their social games such as FarmVille and Mafia Wars, Zynga also recently released FarmVille 2 and recently completed work on their new project, The Ville.

The layoffs announcements came during Apple's press conference earlier this morning. Reportedly, Zynga's Chicago studio is also facing layoffs and possible closure.

Zynga may not be known for their, *ahem*, honorable business practices, but we here at gamrReview wish the best to those that have been laid off.
