Sony Shuts Down PlayStation Home - News

Sony has officially shut down the PlayStation 3 service PlayStation Home. Sony announced last September that the social gaming platform was going to shut down on March 31 and now on today it has closed.

PlayStation Home first launched as an open beta on Decemver 11, 2008. It was develoepd by Sony Computer Entertainment's London Studio. There were over 30 million members and it was free to use for anyone that have a PlayStation Network account.
